Herbert Ohene Addo, professionally known as Herbyboi, is a prodigious Ghanaian singer,
performer, and songwriter whose soulful voice and innovative musical style have positioned
him as a rising star in Africa’s vibrant music scene. Born in Ghana, West Africa, Herbert
discovered his passion for music at a young age, initially treating it as a hobby before
recognizing it as his God-given talent. His journey from a young enthusiast to a celebrated
artist, known for captivating audiences with his dynamic live band performances, is a

Herbyboi’s breakthrough came in 2018 when he clinched the Best Male Vocalist award at the
Ghana High Schools TV Who’s the Best (WTB) Awards. His silky voice and electrifying

Herbert pursued formal music education in Bachelor of Fine Arts in Music, at the prestigious
University of Ghana, Legon, after successfully completing high school. As one of the top
music students, his studies deepened his understanding of music theory, instrumentation and
performance, further honing his craft. During his time at university, Herbert together with his
personal manager, Daniel Quarshie, adopted his stage name Herbyboi and began building a
robust fanbase, leveraging his dynamic performances and engaging social media presence

Herbyboi’s music is defined by his self-created genre, Afro-Life-Music, a captivating fusion
